Travel Requirements – Siempre Birds

To ensure a safe, responsible, and enjoyable experience during our birdwatching tours and nature activities, Siempre Birds asks all travelers to comply with the following requirements and recommendations:

1. Personal Documentation

Each traveler is responsible for carrying valid documentation required for the selected destination:

  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months before expiration).

  • Visa, if applicable according to nationality.

  • Special permits for entry into protected natural areas (when required).

Siempre Birds may provide guidance, but is not responsible for missing travel documents or immigration requirements.

2. Medical Information and Health Conditions

For your safety:

  • Inform us in advance if you have any relevant medical conditions (allergies, reduced mobility, chronic illnesses, treatments, etc.).

  • Some tours require long walks, altitude changes, or uneven terrain; good physical condition is recommended.

  • Bring all personal medication necessary for the entire trip.

  • In remote areas, access to medical assistance may be limited.

3. Travel Insurance

We recommend having:

  • International travel insurance

  • Medical coverage

  • Assistance for accidents, evacuation, or lost luggage

Siempre Birds does not cover costs derived from medical emergencies, accidents, or external delays.

4. Recommended Equipment

To enhance your natural and photographic experience:

  • Comfortable, lightweight clothing in neutral colors

  • Rain jacket or poncho

  • Hiking shoes

  • Hat or cap

  • Sunscreen and insect repellent

  • Binoculars (essential for birdwatching)

  • Camera (optional)

  • Reusable water bottle

Some tours may require additional equipment, which will be communicated in advance.

5. Weather and Terrain Conditions

Field outings depend on weather, bird activity, and safety conditions:

  • Schedules may vary depending on bird activity.

  • Activities take place in natural terrain, which may include mud, humidity, slopes, or dense forest.

  • In cases of extreme conditions, Siempre Birds may reschedule activities to ensure safety.

6. Responsible and Ethical Nature Conduct

To protect the ecosystems we visit:

  • Do not leave trash or damage vegetation.

  • Do not approach or feed wildlife.

  • Maintain silence and appropriate distance during sightings.

  • Always follow the guide’s instructions.

  • Respect rules of protected areas and local communities.

Siempre Birds promotes responsible tourism that minimizes environmental impact.

7. Reservations and Payments

  • A deposit is required to confirm a tour (details provided upon booking).

  • Payments must be made using authorized methods.

  • Any cancellation or modification is governed by our Cancellation Policy, communicated prior to confirmation.

8. Communication and Briefing

Before each tour:

  • A short safety and logistics briefing will be provided.

  • It is important to arrive on time at the meeting point or agreed location.

9. Limits and Restrictions

For safety reasons, some tours may not be suitable for:

  • Individuals with severe mobility limitations

  • Unaccompanied minors

  • People with medical conditions aggravated by physical activity

Restrictions will be clearly stated in each itinerary.

By booking and participating in a tour with Siempre Birds, the traveler acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted:
