Booking Conditions – Siempre Birds

These Booking Conditions govern the process of contracting tours, birdwatching experiences, and related services offered by Siempre Birds. By making a reservation, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted the terms below.


1. Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made through the website, email, or official communication channels of Siempre Birds.

  • A booking is considered preliminary until the formal confirmation and proof of payment are received.

  • Tour availability is subject to group capacity, schedules, weather conditions, and permits for protected areas.


2. Payments and Deposits

  • A deposit is required to confirm a tour; the amount will be communicated upon request.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by the date indicated in the confirmation.

  • Payments must be made through the authorized methods provided by Siempre Birds.

  • Failure to pay within the established timeframe may result in automatic cancellation.


3. Service Confirmation

Once the deposit is received:

  • We will send an official confirmation detailing the itinerary, meeting point, schedule, requirements, and recommendations.

  • This confirmation serves as the valid contract between the client and Siempre Birds.


4. Client Modifications

Clients may request changes related to:

  • Travel dates

  • Number of participants

  • Additional services

Such changes are subject to:

  • Availability

  • Additional costs or fare differences

  • Administrative fees, when applicable

Siempre Birds will do its best to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee approval.


5. Client Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
The following conditions apply (adjustable at your request):

  • More than 30 days before the tour: partial refund of the deposit, minus administrative fees.

  • 15 to 30 days before the tour: 50% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before the tour: no refund.

Conditions may vary depending on the type of tour, logistics, permits, or agreements with local communities.


6. Cancellations or Changes by Siempre Birds

Siempre Birds reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule activities

  • Change routes

  • Adjust schedules

  • Cancel tours

This will occur only under circumstances such as force majeure, extreme weather, safety risks, closures of protected areas, or conservation-related situations.

If Siempre Birds cancels a tour:

  • The client may reschedule or receive a partial or full refund, as applicable.


7. Client Responsibilities

By booking a tour, each participant agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.

  • Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

  • Comply with the established Travel Requirements.

  • Ensure they are in adequate health to participate in outdoor activities.

Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the tour without refund.


8. Included and Excluded Services

Each tour includes only the services specified in its official description.
Additional services such as meals, lodging, special transportation, equipment, or permits may carry extra costs.

These will be clearly communicated before confirming the booking.


9. Prices and Rates

  • Prices may vary depending on season, demand, or logistical changes.

  • All rates will be communicated transparently before any payment is made.

  • In case of obvious pricing errors, Siempre Birds reserves the right to correct them.


10. Photography, Recording, and Image Use

During activities, the guide may take group photographs for documentation or promotional use.
Clients may request in writing that their image not be used in marketing materials or social media.


11. Acceptance of Conditions

By making any payment or confirming a booking with Siempre Birds, the client accepts these Booking Conditions along with:

  • The Travel Requirements

  • The Cancellation Policy

  • The Privacy Policy
